Professional profile

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and a B.S. in Psychology from Texas State University. My experience spans community mental health, outpatient programs, residential treatment, and private practice.

Welcome

Welcome to my page. I work with adults dealing with life transitions, anxiety, and relationships. Together, we'll look at the habits and patterns getting in your way, and we'll go at a pace that feels manageable. If this sounds like what you need, I'd be glad to talk and see if we're a good fit.

How I work

Sessions with me start with getting to know you as a person. I take a holistic approach, looking at your relationships, work, habits, and overall well-being. I'm curious about what you're going through and what matters to you. Early on, we'll build rapport and get clear on what you want out of therapy. From there, you set the direction, and I help you work through it with practical tools.

Therapist spotlight

Who is your ideal client?

I work with adults who feel stuck and have a sense that something is off. Often a lot has changed at once, like a move to a new city, a breakup, or a new job, and what used to work has stopped working. It can feel consuming, like there's no break from the anxiety and overthinking. The people around them may not be the ones they'd choose for support. Some know exactly what's wrong, and others just know something isn't right and haven't told anyone because they're afraid of how it will sound. Many are hard on themselves for struggling, and helping with that is a big part of my work. Most want the same thing: new patterns, more confidence, and a way forward that feels balanced.
